Description and use of genetic resources
During lectures and visits, researchers from Agroscope, ETH Zürich and FibL will present their projects, which should contribute to the use of genetic resources to improve the quality of cereals. Researchers from the NRP 69 projects "Safe cereals" and "Dietary fiber" will take part in this event.

Cereals should taste good and contain as much health promoting compounds as possible. The genetic resources of the different cereal varieties offer an inexhaustible source of biodiversity to reach this goal. During lectures and field visits at Agroscope Changins, researchers will present their projects on the description and use of genetic resources for cereals.
This event is free. It is aimed at farmers, consultants, millers, bakers, consumers and anyone interested. Lectures will be held in French or in German.
