Examining and influencing consumer behaviors and nutrition patterns in Switzerland: six projects investigate questions related to healthy diet. They analyse the eating habits of the Swiss population and study approaches to influencing and improving these habits.

Ten projects investigate the question of healthy food products and their cost. They explore different aspects, for example, how to extend the storage life of food.

How can food become more environmentally friendly?

Six projects investigate the environmental impact of food production. They explore environmentally friendly solutions for agriculture and the consumers.

Cross-cutting projects

The second research phase is studying the links between nutrition, health and environment. Three approved projects cover the entire food chain from agricultural production through to the consumer. An additional project analyses how to incorporate NRP 69 recommendations into the policy framework.
